Elektrokohle:
Elektrokohle is an International Noise-Post-punk newcomer trio based in Berlin. They call their music “Cold Punk” and are inspirated from ’80s Punk, Noise, Krautrock, DarkSurf, and Punk-Blues bents, defined somehow as a visceral and gritty mix between Suicide, Birthday Party and Warsaw with a sound palette of its own.
Cosey Mueller:
Cosey Mueller is a musician and artist currently living and working in Berlin. She also plays synthesizer in the post punk group Glaas. Her live performances as a solo artist is a mixture of analog backing beats, loud distorted guitar, synthesizer melodies, noise elements and expressive vocals.
Violence:
Violence is a post-punk/darkwave from Copenhagen, Denmark. Shaped by their deep roots in the European hardcore punk scene, Violence is playing dreamy soundscapes, cascading guitars, while still showing the raw emotions associated with their past endeavours.
She Can’t Afford Mascara:
“She Can’t Afford Mascara” was born out of a need of south asian representation for the Underground goth scene in Europe.
The artist Adam Shazard behind the solo projekt started working as a clubkid in the gay nightlife scene at 14
Without any money and a non supporting muslim family, they would have to steal cosmetics
In order to express them self and forfill the lifestyle they wished to become
And therefore the name “She Cant Afford Mascara” came.
